In case you haven't notice, Active Meditation is our thing. We teach you how to bring meditation into your everyday life. At the grocery store? Throw down a grounding cord. Disagreeing with your spouse? Put up some protection roses. We want to show you how easy it is to bring meditation into the moments of your life when you really need it.
That being said, sometimes it's really great to create your space for mediation. This is where oils are super helpful. I love to fill my diffuser with an oil that corresponds with the type of meditation I want to have, then sit and meditate while the oils amplify my experience. Some great examples include peppermint for an energizing active meditation practice or lavender for a relaxing active meditation practice before bed. Both oils serve to amplify my active meditation practice experience.
This week, we've been talking about peace. On the wake of very intense election news last week and in the midst of so much uncertainty, we are finding it important to find and maintain our inner peace. Peace and Calming is an essential oil blend by Young Living that promotes this type of feeling. Peace and Calming is a blend of Ylang Ylang, Orange, Tangerine, Patchouli and Blue Tansy. It has a comforting smell. I've used it on my pillow before bed or in a bath to help relax. This week, I've been using it in my diffuser and meditating on peace, my own personal peace as well as peace for all of us.
