Daring Spirits:  Tell us about a decision that felt really bold.

Ande:  Since my teenage years, living a bold life has always been my motto. Several examples include applying to graduate school without an undergraduate degree (Simmons School of Management accepted a few students each year w/o an undergraduate degree); launching a food manufacturing business without any prior experience; and BEING an entrepreneur. However, the most bold decision I made was to keep trying to conceive a child when we had experienced a loss in each trimester. This bold decision gifted me with two Precious Treasures, now 20 and 18...the best of outcomes from a bold decision.

Daring Spirits:  Describe a time when things went "wrong" and then the Universe delivered.

Ande:  One of my favorite examples of everything going wrong was when my food manufacturing business came to its conclusion. I was about to raise another round of capital to take the business to a huge capacity when three events occurred. First, the price of two of my main ingredients sky rocketed due to weather conditions. Then, my manufacturing plant was hit by lightening and, two days later, my packaging plant got hit by lightning. As a business woman, I had to make the tough decision: shut the company down.

I was devastated. I lost my faith in life. However, six months later I realized it was the best outcome for me...for my family...and for my life. The Universe had my back. There was no way I could have spearheaded that enterprise and had a meaningful relationship with my children, my husband and my Self. The Universe delivered a much better outcome than I could have or would have planned. Whew!

Daring Spirits:  Beach or Mountains?  Sweet or spicy?  Window or aisle?

Ande:  Mountains - the hills are alive with the sound of music!

Spicy... it's all about the mouth-watering experience.

Window - life is a banquet of colors, patterns and vistas.

Daring Spirits: Thank you, Ande, for sharing your story with us!

We will leave you with Ande's motto:  life happens FOR you, not TO you. Every event brings you a deeper relationship with your Beloved Self and your Beloved Life. This is especially true for the courageous Entrepreneurial Adventurer.
