Friday Fun: Did You See That?

Friday posts are always amusing to me. I guess that's why they're "Friday Fun" and not "Friday Tedium" (not to mention that a little alliteration is also amusing). What's so fun about them?

I'll let you in on a little secret...we don't set out with a weekly theme in mind, usually. We follow the energy (shocker!) and post what we see needs posting. And then, at some point during the week, one or both of us will see the picture emerge. It becomes apparent that there's one or more clairvoyant themes at play, and a tool/technique/trick that has stepped front and center. Boom - a Friday Fun post is born!

This week appears to have been all about...SEEING!

Seeing, or more importantly having a willingness to look, changes everything. Often so many of our answers lie right in front of us. When we open up to the information sitting in our space, everything can shift. I say 'can' because seeing is only part of the equation. Once we see, we must acknowledge and move to action.

There is a saying about being more afraid of success than failure. A similar statement can be said for seeing. The fear of what we might see is often way more daunting than what we actually see when we dare to look, when we pause to examine.

Seeing, pausing to look, that's what I love to see.

I'll see it when I believe it.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Which type of person are you? I'm definitely aligned with the first statement now, but it hasn't always been that way. Learning to see energy has opened my eyes (yeah, I said it) to a level of action that is far beyond what I can see with my physical eyes.

Getting comfortable receiving and acting on information on a spirit level has taken discipline and has resulted in more than one sleepless night, more than one giant sob-fest, and more than one junk food binge. It's also led to deeper and more meaningful relationships, greater peace, a clear understanding of who I am and what I want out of life, easier laughter, and a whole lot of fun.

See the energy --> believe the energy --> see the manifestation of the energy.

As brutal as some of them have been, I love the growth periods that have arisen out of seeing energy. Because here's the thing - that growth has led me to believe in a Universe that is on my side, one with which I can partner to create magic, so that's what I see with my physical eyes.

And that, my fellow daring spirits, is a damn good place to be.
