Can you be too aware? Too conscious? Is there such a thing as too much when it comes to awareness?
Elizabeth: No? Yes? I plead the fifth?
Awareness is a funny thing. Once you have it, there is no going back. You can't un-see or un-know something, try as you might. With awareness comes other stuff, like responsibility, obligation, or wisdom...
Too much awareness, I would have to say no with the caveat that sometimes enlightenment, heightened consciousness, can feel overwhelming. Gaining insights, information, and knowledge and not knowing what to do with it or how to bring it in the body, can feel daunting and challenging. It might sit for days, months, years, ruminating with no place to go and nothing to do. It might feel like you are spinning your wheels as time creeps on before you have the right time and space to utilize the awareness and information you have acquired. And yet, in the end, too much? Probably not. Most likely, just enough.
Barbara: I'm going to go with my standard answer for pretty much every query: yes, and...
I'm aligned with Elizabeth on this, actually - I'm just going to express it from a slightly different place. Yes, I think sometimes our awareness exceeds our ability in the moment to handle or cope with the information we're receiving.
And...with time, practice, support, and willingness, we can learn to integrate anything the Universe wants to show us.
