When I leave this body, I want people to say "she went for it. That girl, she went for it."
I want to take every opportunity I have this life to go for it. To not turn my back to opportunity, to not run from challenge, to not hide from what I really want to create, and to not shy away when pictures pop up that things might be "hard."
While I say all this, I recognize I am not alone. I am not the only one that lives this way, that has this desire, that goes for it. I am simply one of many voices, one of many individuals. While I choose blogging, reading, healing, and teaching as my method of going for it, others choose trading stocks, opening up a new restaurant, or delivering packages.
Going for it takes on many shades. To some going for it looks like splurging on an extra cookie at lunch, to others leaving a tenured track position to start their own thing, or to others running for President (of the US or of the yacht club). It's not about going for the bigger thing, it is about going for your thing - the "it" that challenges you, the "it" that creates that fire in your belly.
So today, I am going for IT. And tomorrow, I will aim to do the same. Won't you join me?
As we do.
