Did you come into this world knowing exactly who you were? Did you accept the agreements you came in with and assume your role, your responsibility?
What if life were like that?
Imagine this: upon delivery, a card is delivered (by stork, of course). The card tells your story. It lays it all out for your parents and for you to eventually read and know. It tells of your ups and downs, the good, the bad, the pretty, and the pretty ugly. You get to see it all on the first day. Right then and there, you know who we are or at least how your life would unfold.
Fortunately or unfortunately, we don't come with cards. We don't have the luxury of knowing our life story the day we arrive. We get to create it ourselves. We get to choose. We get to define ourselves, and re-define ourselves, and re-define ourselves again. We can pick and choose, change our minds, make mistakes, adapt to new, and grow with experiences.
When was the last time you asked yourself "who am I?" and sat with the answer, sat with your thoughts and feelings about yourself?
You might learn a lot from yourself.
